A FASHION expert has revealed three simple and cheap ways to cinch in your waist without needing a belt.
Audree Kate explained how sometimes, she just doesn’t want to wear a belt because maybe it doesn’t go or she prefers the dress without it.
In a clip shared to TikTok, she shares her first fashion hack and notes that all you’ll need is a shoelace, which can be bought as little as just 24p.
“I’m just going to take a shoelace and tie it around my waist and you’re just going to create a little faux waistline,” she explains.
“This adds just a little definition to the waist and it looks like it already has a waistband sewn in.”
The fashion guru then moves onto the second option and explains you’ll be needing two safety pins and a shoelace.
“I put the dress on inside out and backwards,” she says.
“You’re going to pin the safety pins on the side seam at your waist and make sure to pin them vertically.
“You’re going to feed the shoelace through the safety pins and tie it.”

Savvy Audree then offers a quick glimpse of what it looks like on the inside, before sharing what it looks like on the outside.
“It pulls you in just at the waist,” she says.
“You can’t see anything in the back, it’s still going to hang a little bit loose.”
She continues: “Do you guys remember these little clips form probably the 90s?
“I definitely wore them on my jeans while I was growing up, but you can also use them on a dress.
“I just clipped it on the inside and instantly, it snatches your waist.”
Audree concludes by sharing her third tip, which involves a bangle and a hair tie.
“Place the bangle on the outside of the dress and on the inside of the dress you’re going to take the hair tire and secure it,” she explains.
“When you flip it back over you have this little cinching at the waist.”
The post has since gone viral, racking up over 366k views and endless comments from impressed fashion fans up and down the country.
